Training Grants

The Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund Program was enacted into law in 1998. The WTFP general grant fund provides an annual maximum of $250,000, per employer, used to provide strategic employee training.

Qualifying employers contribute to the Massachusetts unemployment fund. A portion of this contribution feeds the Workforce Training Fund Program.  Approximately $21M is available annually. The purpose of the fund is to Change, Improve or Correct a firm’s business performance.

Workforce Training Solutions was created to make these funds a reality to Massachusetts employers by managing the entire grant application process on behalf of the employer. There is ZERO out-of-pocket expense for employers. The Workforce Training Fund Program approves over 90% of employer applications.
